I didn’t use SafePal S1 when creating a wallet or sending a transaction. Why is that?

SafePal now has two product lines: the SafePal Hardware Wallet and SafePal Software wallet, both are managed and paired through the SafePal App. When firstly create the SafePal wallet inside the SafePal App, users will be asked to choose the wallet type(see the screenshot below). No matter SafePal software wallet or a hardware wallet, SafePal App or SafePal server doesn't store or access your private key or crypto assets.
