How To Recover A SafePal Software Wallet

Step 1 Download The Latest SafePal App From The SafePal Website

Step 2 Set Up The SafePal App

After downloading the SafePal App, open and set up the App. On the first page, you will be asked to add a wallet. Choose 'Software Wallet' and click 'Import via Mnemonic Phrase'. Then you will be asked to configure the wallet security settings, such as security password, pattern, or fingerprint. Complete the settings and move on to the next step.

Step 3 Start To Import A Wallet

Come back to the first page, and select "Software Wallet-->"Import via Mnemonic Phrase". Enter the security password that you just set in the last step.

Step 4 Name The Wallet And Import The Seed Phrase (Mnemonic Phrase)

This is the most important step in wallet recovery. Enter the seed phrase into the field, and make sure they are all input correctly. The seed words should be separated with spaces. If any of your seed word is entered incorrectly, the input filed will turn red (see picture below). For now, SafePal supports 12, 15, 18, 21, or 24 words. After entering the seed phrase correctly and naming the wallet, double-check if you need to turn on the Passphrase or not. If you have used the Passphrase on your previous wallet account, then you will need to turn on the Passphrase option and enter your Passphrase into it, or else you could recover a different wallet. When a wrong seed word that doesn't belong to the BIP39 word list is entered, the input filed turns red.

Step 5 Complete The Wallet Recovery

Congratulations! Now you have recovered your old wallet into the SafePal App! Double-check if you have imported the right wallet by checking the wallet address and the security suffix. If you are seeing a different wallet than your previous wallet, it could be caused by these reasons. Now you can manage your crypto at ease with the SafePal wallet! Enjoy~ 🥳
